Mindfulness For The Workplace

Mindfulness is simply a set of self-management techniques that increase self-awareness and help us to regulate stress, performance and responses in the workplace.

Increasingly mindfulness for organisations is moving into the mainstream; featuring prominently within international management, organisational development and change management programmes as well as being the subject of a Government All Parliamentary Group. Successful organisations such as Google, eBay, Yahoo and Apple have already embedded mindfulness withing their workforce.

Increasingly smaller organisations across the public, private and voluntary and community sectors want their employees to experience the benefits in their personal, professional and client facing lives. To ensure that learning about mindfulness is available to small and medium organisations working within the voluntary and community sectors we offer a reduced rate to enterprises from this sector.

At Now Unlimited we categorise Organisational Mindfulness in two ways; Organisational Development and Working With Clients. We have worked with clients who want to embed mindful practices within their staff to reduce work related stress and the impact it has on health and to help create a happier, healthier and more productive environment. Clients have also wanted their employees to work mindfully in their approach to work with specific client groups to improve relationships and work without judgement, or a combination of the two.

Now Unlimited’s bespoke learning and support packages use a combination of mindful mentoring, mindfulness consultancy and training programmes to provide our services. All of our courses adopt a secular, research led approach to the application of mindful techniques. We operate within the principles and guidance set out in the Good Practice Guidance for Teaching Mindfulness-based Courses set out by Bangor, Oxford and Exeter Universities.

How Do We Operate?

Step 1: Learning about our client and their sector
Step 2: Listening to the needs of our client
Step 3: Collaboratively developing tailored solutions
Step 4: Implementing sustainable interventions
Step 5: Evaluating success

Building Better Opportunities

Now Unlimited has partnered up with Children’s Link to provide a unique mindfulness programme specifically designed for individuals struggling with mental ill-health.

Using mindfulness tools, we aim to cultivate mental resilience and provide each individual with skills, knowledge and ability to become active contributors in their own communities. This project is being delivered in Spalding, Lincolnshire, for people living in around the Spalding area.

The project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund Building Better Opportunities. This is a national programme of funding designed to support individuals back into education, training or employment.
To be eligible for this project people need to have the right to work in the UK and be either unemployed
or economically inactive.

NURTURE THROUGH NATURE FLAGSHIP PROGRAMME

Our 8-week transformative mindfulness programme

Our flagship programme Nurture through Nature enables participants to respond to anxiety and stress through our mindfulness techniques and practices. Our 8-week programme gives them the skills and ability to live consciously and appreciate life again.

Most of the people that come on our programmes are facing life’s past, current, or future challenges. Our programme takes people through self-awareness and meditation practices whereby they can manage their mind and emotions better. We teach people that happiness comes from within ourselves. We may not be able to control what is happening around us. But we can control how we respond to it. We have a choice we can live a joyful, pleasant life or a miserable life.

Our Nurture through Nature programme engages people with nature and our connection with nature and blue spaces. How to appreciate nature with all our senses. From the food we eat and to the plants we grow is all about nature. Nature helps us appreciate ourselves, energises us and gives us that sense of wellbeing.

Why not experience one of our programmes for yourselves. To find out more contact us at info@nowunlimited.co.uk
